Hello, thank you for using Boop by Petco. Great question! These litter pellets are made from paper so they are non-toxic if ingested. That being said, if they are ingested in a large quantity they can be harmful and cause an obstruction. Typically once they urinate/defecate on the pellets that should deter them from wanting to eat the pellets in the future but that is not a given. You will just have to monitor Dexter in the beginning to see how he reacts to them. Larger breed dogs will have less of an issue (with GI obstruction) than small breed dogs. I would have no issues trying it with my dogs. Hope this helps. Best wishes.

Hi there and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. If the puppy pads do not work, I would recommend a product called Fresh Patch, which you can order online. I have found that potty training is much more successful with this product. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.

Hi there and thank you for using Boop by Petco. I honestly would recommend using Fresh Patch. I've had so many clients have success stories with potty training their puppy because of this product. It is basically a patch of grass that you order online that comes in a cardboard box that auto-ships to you to replace the used one. I would look into this and try it out to see if it helps more than the puppy pad. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.

Hi there and thank you for using Boop by Petco to address your concern. This is likely behavioral and will correct over time. One product that I recommend for people is something called Fresh Patch, which is a patch of grass delivered to your house every month. I've had great success getting puppies to use the patch of grass and find that they become potty trained rather quickly. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.

This link may help: https://www.petexpertise.com/dog-training-article-litter-box-training-for-dogs/ I do recommend to continue crate training though until Soshi is 1-2 years of age. I hope this helps.
