Interview cleaners and let them know you have birds. Ask what products they use, and if they are safe around birds. More than likely, you will have to take the birds out of the house while the carpets being cleaned, and bring them back in when the carpets are dried. You could board them with a vet during this time, and that way, they would be safe. Once the carpets are fully dry, it's safe to bring them back home.

It should be fine as long as you are not keeping Eva's cage right next to the washer and dryer, and are not washing any of her bedding/materials with the beads. If you do need to wash any of her bedding or cage covers, etc, using an unscented detergent or none at all should be fine for avoiding any issues.

Thanks for reaching out about your birds. Quite the dilemna. The answer really depends on the size of the cage, on how long they can be left in it. Out of cage exercise is important for health, just as exercise for humans. Could you limit to the one room? Good luck.

If you're in an area where the temperature has risen, you may be more likely to smell a stronger odor with the stool. Changing the bedding regularly may help reduce the odor. If the odor is very strong right after Bubbles has a bowel movement, is changing in consistency or appearance without any changes to treats or diets, or you see other signs of illness such as changes in eating habits, drinking, behavior, etc, then having a vet take a look at a stool sample or examining Bubble is best to rule out any health issues.

Yes, it sounds like you would provide a safe and loving home for a bird. I like your plan to keep it separate to reduce stress on the bird. Gradually introducing it to the other animals would be good once it’s very relaxed and settled in. Thanks for using Boop by Petco to help you get answers to your veterinary questions.
