Hello and thank you for contacting Boop by Petco. You should monitor Purl for symptoms of vomiting, lethargy, lack of appetite, tremors, problems with balance. If you notice any of these signs, you should get your puppy checked by your local vets right away. According to the manufacturer's data the symptoms are NOT likely to develop after ingesting this dose. You should give your bigger dog another tablet to get the right dose for 22-44 pound weight (that should be 24mg of sarolaner, moxidectinum 0.48mg and pyrantelum 100mg).

These products are overall very safe. In all likelihood, nothing will happen. In dogs with a low seizure threshold, it could contribute to seizures. We typically don't recommend inducing vomit unless we know the ingestion will cause harm, as vomit induction has it's own list of side effects. Monitor Karyn at home for 24 hours, and once that time has passed, I would not worry about it any longer.

Hello. This is fine to use. I would not recommend giving both of these on the same day. Give one on the first of the month & the second on the 15th so there are no drug interactions. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.

If you are worried your pet have ingested something toxic you need to call your local veterinary emergency clinic or ASPCA Animal Poison Control as we cannot guarantee a prompt response. Some toxicities are true emergencies and can be fatal. ( https://www.aspca.org/pet-care/animal-poison-control ) Typically speaking most (not all) animals that ingest a double dose of a preventive medication are safe however, not all animals react to medications the same way. The best you can do if it has been more than an hour since he ingested it is to watch for symptoms of toxicity like: tremors, seizures, ataxia (walking drunk/unsteady), extreme lethargy, vomiting, etc. If you notice any symptoms get him to an emergency clinic ASAP.
