Fleas can be frustrating to treat. I know that many people have a lot of success with Seresto collars, but I have not. In order to treat Bandit’s fleas, I recommend using a good quality topical product, such as Advantage (use monthly) or Bravecto (prescription based and used every 3 months). Flea shampoos are rarely effective and can cause irritation to the skin, so I tend to steer clear of them. Be sure to vacuum daily, dispose of the vacuum bag frequently, and wash Bandit’s bedding in hot water. Continue to apply flea medication regularly in order to disrupt the fleas’ life cycle to prevent a recurrence. I hope this helps and that all goes well for Bandit!

Hello. Yes, absolutely you can use both, but since the collar lasts 8 months, remove it for a week after you reapply the Frontline Plus. Then you can safely put the collar back on. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.

the only flea collar worth anything is Seresto. It is labeled for 8 months of prevention, but I would expect around 6 months. They have Bravecto now that is a topical and it will last for 3 months now. If those do not help you may want to look into a hypoallergenic diet also

Hello, & thank you for using Boop by Petco. Yes, you can absolutely place a Seresto Collar on Nala today, if you wish. But please consider that here may be other reasons besides fleas that are causing her to itch. Dogs can suffer from many allergies, just like we can, & sometimes fall can be the worse time of year for this. You will probably need to speak with your veterinarian to see if Nala does have allergies, & not fleas, & what medications will work best for her. Take care.

Hi! Thanks for using Boop by Petco! Dealing with fleas sometimes can be quite stressful. I would give Frontline a bit longer to work. I would focus more on the other things you can do to help get rid of the fleas such as vacuuming the house and all the surfaces they have contact with frequently (every 2-3 days). If no improvement after a month or so, you may consider a different flea preventative. Goodluck!
