Can Seresto be used with frontline, or advantage? I have heard alot of raving things about Seresto, but i am skeptical about flea collars working. If i bought one can i put it on my dog even tho she was treated with advantage? She has a flea allergy
It is ok to use Seresto along with other topical products, just not oral ones. In some pets there can be a little skin irritation, so watch out for that and notify your vet if this happens. Otherwise, you should be fine to go ahead with Seresto to see if this does the trick. I would also recommend using a flea fogger to treat your home, which can be found at your local Home Depot or Lowe's. If you still don't have good results with the Seresto collar, then I would wait at least 2 weeks and consider better products such as Simparica or Nexgard. I gave our cat Frontline Plus 5 weeks ago, but within 2 weeks I found fleas on him again. We treated him with a CapStar and ordered a Soresto collar, which has arrived. Is it too soon to put the collar on?
You can put the collar on. However! Unfortunately fleas only hop on the body of your pet when they want to feed, then they hop off again and stay in your pet's environment. So you need to treat all pets in the household as well as the environment (which contains the fleas, their eggs and larvae). Flea treatment: 1) Get some flea medication such as a Flea spray or a spot on from a pet shop or your veterinarian and apply monthly 2) get flea powder, put some in your vacuum cleaner bag and vacuum your house and furniture and also non-carpeted areas frequently to remove flea larvae and eggs which live off house dust., Dispose of the bag in the trash outside. Hot-wash all the pet's bedding, If you do this diligently for a few months you will get rid of the fleas. Yes I got an answer about Nina but I know she's allergic to flea bites and fly bites I was wondering if getting a seresto collar would be better than the hartz one she has on now I've also treated the house and yard and bathed her what else is there
Seresto is a very good product and in my experience would work best. Otherwise it seems you are doing everything Nina needs. Benadryl and any other medication you are giving should be ideally supervised by your veterinarian. Hope that answers your questions, if not please contact us again!

I recently bought the seresto collar for my dog and it doesn't seem to be working. There are just as many fleas on him. He has been wearing the collar now for about 6 days. Any tecommendsrions
If it does not seem to be working then I suggest you get him a different product. I like the oral pills either Bravecto or Nexgard. You can get these products at one of VETCO's clinics inside Petco stores. Take Jackson with you to the clinic. There is no exam fee. It would only be the cost of the product.
