Because fleas are so problematic, flea prevention is essential! Commonly prescribed preventives include oral and topical medications—although injectable flea prevention is available, as well.

Hi I would suggest you buy a box of 6 pipettes of Revolution. Make sure you apply one pipette on each cat to the skin to the back of their neck, so it’s important you part hair when applying it. You need to repeat it every month. I would also suggest you spray the environment to kill all eggs and larvae present. I am sure they will be able to advise you on which spray is best according to the size of your house and people living in it. https://www.petsmart.com/cat/pharmacy/rx-medication/revolution-for-cats-5.1-15-lbs-5273301.html

I'm so sorry but it is against the law for us to write prescriptions over the internet without having personally examined the pet. You can go to one of Petco's VETCO vaccination clinics (bring the cats with you) and they can get you the Revolution after the vet examines the cats. There is no charge for the exam, just for the product. Call first and make sure they will have the Revolution with them. There appears to be multiple clinics happening in your zip code on Saturday the 28th and Sunday the 29th. Hi and thanks for posting on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! For cats, I would recommend Revolution which a topical solution applied once monthly. It helps prevents fleas and intestinal parasites in cats. It is easy to use and very effective in cats. This is a prescription medication your can obtain through Jax's veterinarian. I hope this helps!

You received a highly effective preventive medication which also covers mites besides the ones you mentioned. Realize that your kitties probably are stressed out with the two moves, one away from the person they loved (yes hoarder kitties are loved too, and love their owner) to the shelter and then from the shelter to you. Give them lots of TLC and they will get used to their new home soon.

The most comprehensive protection you can get that is also the easiest to apply and has very, very few side effects would be Revolution. I highly recommend this. I will provide broad spectrum coverage for fleas, roundworms, hookworms, ear mites, scabies, etc. This will give you peace of mind. You can get this product easily by going to one of Petco's VETCO clinics inside their stores. Take Ford with you as the vet will need to see him. They do not charge an exam fee so all you will need to pay for is the product. Hope this helps.
