Choosing flea, tick, heartworm meds: Revolution, Advantix, Heartgard?
Congratulations on your new dog! I like Revolution if you are looking for a topical product. It consistently works well and is well tolerated. If you like the idea of an oral product better, I like Trifexis (it’s another all in one product). Sometimes though the pets can smell the Trifexis and they won’t eat it. In that instance, I like Simparica and Interceptor. My personal preference is oral products. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.

My cat has flea allergies. What are the best products to use?
I would recommend using Revolution for at least 3 months. If Jackie has a skin infection she may need antibiotics. You would have to have a physical performed at your veterinarian to determine this. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.

My cat needs Revolution. How can I get a prescription quickly?
I'm so sorry but it is against the law for us to write prescriptions over the internet without having personally examined the pet. You can go to one of Petco's VETCO vaccination clinics (bring the cats with you) and they can get you the Revolution after the vet examines the cats. There is no charge for the exam, just for the product. Call first and make sure they will have the Revolution with them. There appears to be multiple clinics happening in your zip code on Saturday the 28th and Sunday the 29th. What's the difference between Revolution Blue and Purple for cats?
Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Revolution for cats in the blue box is for cats weighing 5.1-15 lbs and the purple box is for cats under 5 lbs. I would read the weight range on the box to be sure you got the right one. Have a good night

Can I use Revolution and Seresto collar together for flea control?
Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! You can use a Seresto collar and topical Revolution on Christi at the same time. I would protect all pets in your home every 30 days with the Revolution and use prevention all year round to prevent another outbreak. Good luck and kisses to Christi!
