Is Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin & Stomach grain-free, chicken-free?

Hello, and thanks for using Boop by Petco. This is an excellent food choice for you. It contains barley (and rice, and oatmeal) so is NOT grain free. The primary protein is salmon, and chicken is not listed in the ingredients. I frequently recommend this for dogs who should avoid chicken. Hope this helps!

My cat prefers Purina Pro Plan prescription kidney diet. Is it good?

What's the best affordable healthy cat food for indoor/outdoor cats? Dry or wet?

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! I think the Purina Pro Plan diets are very good and also affordable. Both dry and wet diets are equally good in general especially for younger cats. I prefer wet food in older cats when I am concerned about kidney disease just to increase the water content in the diet. Good luck and have a great day!

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! It is not known at this time if grain free diets are actually better than diets with grain. I usually recommend feeding a high quality diet. Purina is an excellent diet but if you do not have access to this diet, there are others that you could consider that are also excellent such as Hill's Science Diet, Royal canin and Iams foods. Grain does not necessarily make dogs gain weight so I would be more focused on the quality and balance of the diet per se. Good luck and have a great day!
