Sometimes the best place to get advise for fleas is from the locals or the local veterinarian. The reason for this is that fleas in certain geographic areas are more susceptible to certain products than others. For instance, when I lived in NY everyone used Frontline and loved it. When I went down to Virginia, everyone hated it and their animals would be crawling with fleas regardless of use. Here in Pennsylvania, it doesn't seem to work well either. I find that that the Seresto collar is the most effective product, and it is nice because it lasts or eight months. It can be purchased over the counter on websites such as amazon or at Walmart. Hope this helps.

Petco carries a variety of flea and tick medication over the counter. You can only get a prescription product from a veterinarian if they have examined Bruno. Petco does offer vaccine clinics but you would need to check with the specific services individually. Here is a link: https://www.vetcoclinics.com/ I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.

So sorry but this is not what this service is for. If you want to surrender a guinea pig you need to contact your local Petco store. They may or may not accept him. I don't know what their policy is on that. You can also try to contact the local humane society as they often accept them. You may also want to contact one of these rescues to see if they can help you. http://www.onlineguineapigcare.com/guinea-pig-rescue-shelters-ohio/ Hope this helps.

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! What an exciting time. You would need to start by getting a high quality diet (I like the Purina Pro Plan diets though there are plenty to choose from). Also, a dog bed and toys will be important as well. I recommend that you check with your veterinarian to get him in for initiation of vaccines and to start other preventative care medications such as flea and tick preventatives and heartworm preventatives. Good luck and enjoy your pup!
