I would recommend getting the other dog crate trained so when you are not home your new dog can be crated. I would not start crating Joe because you adopted another dog. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! What an exciting time. You would need to start by getting a high quality diet (I like the Purina Pro Plan diets though there are plenty to choose from). Also, a dog bed and toys will be important as well. I recommend that you check with your veterinarian to get him in for initiation of vaccines and to start other preventative care medications such as flea and tick preventatives and heartworm preventatives. Good luck and enjoy your pup!

That all depends on the puppy. Crating tends to be safer because the puppy cannot get into potential harmful things. It also tends to help with house breaking. Here is an article which may provide some help: https://www.petcoach.co/article/how-to-crate-train-your-puppy-or-older-dog/ https://www.petcoach.co/article/new-puppies-sleep-tips-for-bedtime/ Please feel free to post any additional questions.

That's cool that the recovery suit will work for her then. The cost of crates vary by location, so I would check costs in pet stores, as well as checking online sites that resell things (like Ebay if you have that in Bosnia & Herzegovina). You may be able to buy one second hand. Yes, she can eat her regular food :-)

Hi there and thank you for using PetCoach to address your concern. I would recommend reading the following article: ( https://www.petcoach.co/article/separation-anxiety/ ) You can also try and give Riley NaturVet Quiet Moments Calm Chews with Melatonin (can be found at Petco) and see if this helps with the anxiety. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.
