What dog bed for my cold, burrowing miniature dachshund puppy?

Dachshunds tend to be snugglers, and also love to be buried (like under a blanket!). You can buy this as a spray for example at your local pet store or online. If she does not improve, the other thing that should be considered is if there is a medical reason for all of this which is certainly possible. How much is a cat at Petco? What supplies do I need & will it scratch?

Hello. The cats & kittens offered at Petco are actually managed by individual rescue groups. Prices will differ from rescue to rescue. All cats can do well if they are played with & fussed over once you get home. Can they get into trouble & sometimes make a mess? Absolutely. If you do not want hair & dander & kitty litter tracked all over the house, you should not have a pet. Cats may need to have their claws trimmed ( NOT REMOVED ) & plenty of opportunities to exercise their claws, otherwise they will scratch your furniture, moldings & walls. You will need different types of scratching surfaces, plenty of toys, a water & food dish, litter box ( or 2 ), & lots of patience. All cats are individuals, so when you go looking to adopt a cat, take your family & give yourself plenty of time to spend with your potential pet, & ask lots of questions about them. Why does my cat refuse his new self-warming bed for sleeping?

Hello. This is literally an age old question & basically it all goes back to this: no one knows what goes on in a cats head. I am not just being facetious, but even my cats drive me crazy sometimes. Food, toys, beds, cat condos all go through love/hate phases all the time. I think it is so wonderful that you adopted him, & as long as he loves being with you, the warming bed may just be too foreign to him. There may also be a very low quality hum or vibration that goes along with the heating elements that just puts him off.
