Nature can be very cruel. And unfortunately, especially in the bird world, survival of the fittest is the rule. Sometimes chicks who are not thriving are sick or otherwise underdeveloped. The parents often instinctively know this. Also, the parents are less likely to care for their chicks when they have been touched by human hands. While I am certain you have the best of intentions, feeding the chicks and taking them in could possibly make matters worse.

The easies solution is either Recovery from Royal canin or a/d from hills, both are wet foods designed for cats and dogs but are suitable for baby birds as well, you can draw them into a syringe and feed this bird (many times a day!)

Thanks for reaching out about Peekaboo. Not all birds get along but can often be trained to get along. Suspect this is more dominance that anything else. Allow to interact in neutral territory so no one is defending their home territory. Allow to interact with plenty of feeding stations and for short periods of time, to get acclimated to each other. Good luck.

Thanks for reaching out about DT. Many parrots don't recognize humans as part of their flock but needs to learn to interact. Keeping movements slow and deliberate, offering treats via hand. Positive reinforcement for wanted conditioning. A book titled "A Guide to Well Behaved Parrots" is a good start, or other behavioral literature. Good luck.

Birds can carry disease that is transmissible to humans, such as psittacosis. Since you have multiple birds and people in your household that are ill, I would recommend scheduling a vet visit for your remaining birds and a doctor's visit for any medical issues your human family is experiencing.
