Real Nature seems to be a very high quality food, it is not one i am familiar with but the ingredient list is quite impressive. if he is doing well on this brand i would probably stick with it. other excelent options include Orijen, Acana and taste of the wild.

I love Natural Balance and am really surprised that it caused an upset tummy. As far as flavor goes, most of my patients like the venison and sweet potato the best. If she has skin allergies you want to stay away from the chicken and beef as most dogs are allergic to these. You could try Fromm's which is a little more expensive but a good food. Another option is to do a hypoallergenic diet that is prescribed by your vet. Always slowly mix the old food with the new food to help transition. I hope this helps!

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center! I personally like the Purina Pro Plan diets as well as the Hill's Science Diet foods as I think they are both palatable and highly nutritious. In terms of treats, I think the milk bones products are both nutritious, palatable and reasonably priced. Good luck and best wishes!

Hi, thanks for using Petcoach! I just ask my clients to check for the AAFCO nutritional statement on any food brand they purchase. If the pet eats the food well, is appropriate body weight, doesn't have vomiting or diarrhea then I am happy. Between these 2 brands you will get different answers and reasons probably from every Vet or pet owner you ask. I have clients on both that are happy. Personally I would chose Fromm for my dog, no reason except for preference. I hope this helps! http://petfood.aafco.org/

Every dog is a little different and you may have to experiment a bit to find the food that Roscoe tolerates the best. I don't know what your budget is, or what is specifically available in your area, but here are a few brand options: Natural Balance Taste of the Wild Merrick Canidae Most of these brands offer grain free treats as well. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
