While Halloween may be fun for us, it can be stressful for pets. Before the trick-or-treaters start ringing the doorbell, be sure that your pet is safely confined in a crate or room so that they don’t escape amidst the chaos. Keep any candy or treats out of reach of pets. Chocolate is toxic to pets, and many other treats or candies can lead to gastrointestinal upset or pancreatitis. If your pet becomes excessively anxious when the doorbell rings repeatedly, discuss solutions with your veterinarian.

They are actually made to place an empty water bottle inside so it can make noise and they can chew, but you don't have to place the water bottle in it. You can also try the KONG toys. They come in different shapes and sizes and are made to place dog treats or dogs flavored sprays in to let him chew and lick those. Some dogs are not big on toys no matter what you try though.

Click on the Accepted Products link at the top, then on accepted products for cats. It will list everything that is truly tested to provide results.
