Is Merrick dog food quality still good after Purina's acquisition?

Hi there and thank you for using Boop by Petco to address your concern. In my opinion, Purina is not a terrible food and I include that in my list of food recommendations. If Rex has been doing ok on the food for a while now with no problems, then I would keep him on the same food. I would consider switching only if he begins to have problems with digestion. What are the best dog and puppy food and treat brands to buy?

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! I personally like the Purina Pro Plan diets as well as the Hill's Science Diet foods as I think they are both palatable and highly nutritious. Is a small piece of BBQ rib with onion/garlic safe for my dog?

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! Such a small amount is unlikely to cause an issue. What it may do though is cause gastrointestinal distress which may result in vomiting, nausea and diarrhea.
