Is Merrick dog food quality still good after Purina's acquisition?

If Rex has been doing ok on the food for a while now with no problems, then I would keep him on the same food. I would consider switching only if he begins to have problems with digestion. If you want to change food brands, I also recommend Science Diet, Royal Canin or Natural Balance. I hope this helps! Every dog is a little different and you may have to experiment a bit to find the food that Roscoe tolerates the best. Thanks for using Boop by Petco! I personally like the Purina Pro Plan diets as well as the Hill's Science Diet foods as I think they are both palatable and highly nutritious. Best affordable dry food for my adult American Staffordshire Terriers?

Hello. You have quite a very handsome group of pups! The best dog foods most vets will recommend are those made by Purina, Hill's Science Diet & Royal Canin. I personally feed mine Purina One True Instincts. These may not be the very cheapest foods out there, but they are definitely more reasonable than the incredibly high priced boutique foods which are no better than the basics. My dog has allergies and severe hair loss. Best affordable food?

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! All the good allergy foods have a comparable price. The best in my opinion is the Royal canin Ultamino. This is the one recommended by the dermatologists at my hospital. Good luck and have a great day!
