Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! Kuro is a bit young to have too many expectations. I would only walk him in the areas you want him to urinate in. If he won't go put him in the crate and try again. use commands like "go pee pee" or "do your business." Then when he goes make a HUGE deal about it: verbal praise, pet him, great treat and then play with him for a while. If he does poop or pee put it in the area you want him to go. He will eventually catch on! I hope this helps and I wish you and Kuro the best!

Hi there and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. If the puppy pads do not work, I would recommend a product called Fresh Patch, which you can order online. I have found that potty training is much more successful with this product. I hope this helps! It seems she might need a small kennel. There should only be enough room for her to stand up and turn a complete circle. Any other room then they tend to soil in one area and lay in another so they do not get dirty. Puppies tend to get distracted easily and may find playing and exploring outside more important than going to the bathroom. I would start taking her out on leash and staying close by you reward her with treats as she goes in the correct place.

How do I keep Ruger from pooping inside? I take him out every 3 hours, and 9 times out of 10 he'll go pee, And then I'll take him for a walk around the property, and he won't poop, but I take him inside and he'll walk around for maybe 15 minutes and
Designate an area outside for Ruger to use for elimination. Take him there when he needs to go and wait. No walking, but you can circle the area. Once Ruger begins to go, immediately use a cue such as "Do your business" or "Go potty". When he is done, offer praise and a small reward. If he urinates first, stand and wait until he defecates. Don't forget to say the phrase when he does this also. He can go on a short walk after he does both. You can use a spray attractant to keep him interested in the one area. Be firm, patient and consistent. When he is inside, do not leave him unsupervised as long as he is still soiling the house. Place him in a crate or on a leash attached to your hip so you can watch for cues that he needs to go out. Use an enzymatic cleaner such as Nature's Miracle to thoroughly clean any soiled areas.

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! That is actually an excellent and very smart question and brings up a good point. Dogs can bring soil, bacteria and parasites from the outside so cleaning his paws at least would be a great idea to prevent any harm to the baby. Have a good night!
