It seems she might need a small kennel. There should only be enough room for her to stand up and turn a complete circle. Any other room then they tend to soil in one area and lay in another so they do not get dirty. Puppies tend to get distracted easily and may find playing and exploring outside more important than going to the bathroom. I would start taking her out on leash and staying close by you reward her with treats as she goes in the correct place.

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! There are medications for anxiety that can work in these cases that can be used on an as needed basis such as Trazodone. This is something her veterinarian could prescribe. Good luck and have a good night!

For anxiety, I like Composure chews and Adaptil diffusers. If these don't help, there are prescription medications that you can discuss with your veterinarian. Making sure Lewis is getting plenty of exercise is also very important. https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/dog/dog-health-and-wellness/dog-calming-aids/vetri-science-laboratories-composure-canine-bite-sized-chews https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/dog/dog-health-and-wellness/dog-calming-aids/comfort-zone-diffuser-with-dap-for-dogs

It will all depend on his temperament! Big dogs can get along with small dogs just fine but it does depend on their personalities. Make sure they meet in a neutral area (so not your yard that your small dog "owns." It wis probably a good idea to take the bigger dog on a hard walk to wear him out and also have a helper with you. If you are scared, have them meet with a fence between them first. You can absolutely train him to a kennel still. Lastly, make sure your fence is high enough and in good condition. It's pretty tough to train a dog not to jump a fence. One option is to get an underground fence and run the wire along the fence line. Most dogs will respect this system and won't try to jump the fence. I also recommend to do some reading about Labs in general. They are typically very good dogs but they do require some exercise. I hope this is helpful and please feel free to post any additional questions.

I am sorry to hear that this is happening. It sounds like she is anxious enough to hurt herself. When dogs are this anxious I do think that medication has a place in making them feel better. I would highly encourage you to have her evaluated by your veterinarian soon. There is a new supplement out called Solliqiun that has a lot of promise. You may consider using that first, before medication. Also, there Is a pheromone product called Adaptil that is a calming pheromone. It comes in collars and plug in diffusers. I would encourage you to purchase this as well. Best of luck and I hope she improves soon. Thank you for using Pet Coach.
