Save Your Money

Bought this for my 12 week old German Shepherd. As soon as I opened it and put the first two panels together, I knew I wasted my money. None of the panels sit even, the joining brackets really suck and the kennel will never be a perfect square. Seriously save your money. Something with this quality shouldn’t be above $80. The “canopy” brackets once inserted is honestly laughable. Not sure what I was expecting but it was definitely something with more quality than this.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Not so sturdy

Unwrapped the package to see that the box was partly opened. The parts box was taped up good, but there were loose parts inside. Did I receive used when I bought new? All the parts were there, but almost all of the panels were dented up on the horizontal wires. The overall structure isn't all that sturdy. A huge disappointment from the description and the price. The latch was also difficult to open/close. It didn't move smoothly nor want to turn easily.

No, I do not recommend this product.

My covers have deteriorated, how do I get new ones.

I will not be using the top cover. Will that effect the stability of the cage?

    1. No, The top does not contribute to cage stability

Is it possible to make the enclosure a little smaller and use a side panel to make a hard roof?

    1. Yes. I did that, but I didn't use anything to secure the top. You might want to use cable ties.

Is the paint / coating completely safe for animals? Is there any lead or other harmful substances in the wire, paint or coating?

Does it come with securing brackets so the kennel can’t move? Or is is secure another way? I have a husky who finds escaping kennels a game.

      1. It comes with metal ties to twist to keep the chain link fence attached to the poles. I have 2 4 month old pit/boxer mix puppies i put out during the day  and they have got out of it 3 times already. Hope this helps…

Can I put 2 together to make it larger?

      1. Yes side by side and take one of the panels in the middle off. I use it for a cat Catio. I already had a wood Catio and attach an extra large kennel and removed one panel where the entry to the Catio also removed Catio entry. Zip tie both cages together and I have a very large Catio for my 3 cats. My cats love it!

Is it possible to move the door to the side?

      1. It can be placed wherever you want. You get 7 normal panels and 1 door panel. You can arrange them however you want. I put the door on the side in the middle.

Could this be used for kittens?  How large are the gaps around the door?

      1. The actual spacing of the wire panels is larger than any gap around the door or each panel, which is only about an inch. Kittens could get through there easier unless you put an extra layer of barrier like hardware cloth or something similar all the way around the kennel.

Could this kennel be used inside? Is it easily collapsible like an x-pen?

      1. I have mines inside in a corner it is big you have to put together with screws so it’s no collapsible.  It’s perfect for a big dog I have a German shepherd.

Does the kennel come with the tarp?

      1. "- Waterproof cover provides shade from direct sunlight and shelter from rain - Ideal for dogs, cats, and other small animals - Complete kit includes kennel, cover frame and waterproof cover"
