hi! today on a walk with my polish tatra sheepdog and cavalier puppy a neighbour dog that had previously attacked my dog was off leash and ran towards us, then his owner got him on leash and they stopped and went to their property, but then suddenly the big dog pulled out the leash from my hands and ran towards the dog owner and tried to bite him, there wasn't any blood, he just grasped it. but it is very scary that such a big dog runs to neighbours and scares them.
How old should your puppy be to start training him to walk with a leash?
PULLING: Off-leash, she walks alongside me. Outside, she wears a comfortable harness(pictured). •I stop and use sit command. If I verbally praise her, she jumps right back up and back to pulling. She doesn’t do treats. If I don’t praise her, she’ll stay until I begin to walk again and she’s back to pulling (repeating steps during entire walk). •Gentle leader. She will not walk and acts too ashamed.

My dog went to her first obedience class today. She is a 7 lb Malitpoo. The instructor has us use a choker collar for the first several sessions. I have a basset beagle mix (at least that is what we think she is) that is about 15-18 months old. She is not fixed yet.
