How to buy Interceptor Plus for multiple dogs without a vet visit?

If you have proof that the dogs have a current negative heartworm test (current means a test within the last year) then you can get the product at any one of our VETCO vaccination clinics. If you do not have proof of a negative heartworm test, you can get the test done at the clinic and then you can buy the Interceptor (or any type of heartworm prevention). Heartgard, Interceptor, Bravecto, Frontline: Which is best for my dog?

Heartgard and interceptor are equal. It is personal preference for your dog and you. Heartgard is a larger, chunky chewable which some smaller dogs may not like to where interceptor is small pile that can be hidden in a treat and raiser to give pickier dogs. Bravecto is a better product as it is a pill form and last for 3 months but frontline is a topical that last for a single month

Can I give my dog Advantage Multi and Interceptor Plus together?

Yes, you can give both products at the same time and Charlie will likely do fine. If you want to be extra cautious, separate them by two days. Neither product had activity against ticks. If ticks are a concern where you live, you can switch the products to something like Simparica for fleas and ticks and the Interceptor for heartworms and intestinal worms.
