Hey, Freya got her teeth removed, she is one clindamycin twice a day and half a 60 mg galliprant once a day. I accidentally gave her two half's of galliprant today one am and one pm like 10 minutes ago, I just realized when i re read the labels. Will
Hello. She may be act slightly sedated, tired, even wobbly when she walks. It should last a few hours if it does happen but it will wear off on its own. Monitor her at home and don’t let her outside by herself as she may be slow to react to things. This should not require an emergency vet visit. Thank you for using Boop by Petco

Can I give Sofia (9-10Ib dog) cefpodoxime 1/4 of 100 mg & galliprant 1/2 of 20 mg. on the same day? Is galliprant be given on full or empty stomach?
These medications can certainly be given on the same day. No concerns for drug interactions here whatsoever. Please also continue to monitor for any signs of GI upset however from the medications themselves, which includes vomiting, diarrhea or decreased appetite and notify your vet immediately if seen. Only a small percentage of pets will have an adverse reaction to these medications. Both medications should be gien after a small meal. My 12 year old 72 lb dog takes galliprant and MSM for osteoarthritis. Galliprant costs $100.00/month. Now my vet sold me GABAPENTIN so she takes GabaP, galliprant and MSM each day. gabapentin is only $10/per month. Why is there a $90 dollar price

So Gabapentin has many uses including pain relief, and when used with Galliprant, it provides even better pain control from arthritis. Using them in combination is likely why you are seeing her act more energetic than being on the Galliprant alone. Gabapentin is an unusual pain medication in that it is rarely used by itself. On its own, gabapentin is not particularly effective in preventing pain, which is why it's frequently used in combination with other drugs. I honestly can't answer why Galliprant is so much more expensive, but if this combination works, I would stick with it. I hope this helps!
