You can buy those products at Petco for Beaux. I would advise to only purchase Frontline or Advantix. I would not get anything cheaper than that. Be aware that these are still your best over the counter products but fleas are developing immunity to them. In general, the oral products like Simparica and Bravecto are the best. Please post if you have any additional questions.
Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! Fleas are super smart and have developed resistance to a lot of products. In the US we see fleas that are resistant to Frontline. Maybe a little less to Advantix/Advantage. Personally I think the new oral flea and tick preventions are the best: Nexgard and Simparica are monthly and Bravecto is one pill every 3 months. Also the Seresto collar is great and good value for the money, the collar lasts 8 months. These products are not cheap, they cost about $16/dose. But they are prescription from a Vet only. The price is worth the efficacy and it will save you in the long run from trying multiple products, bombing your house, etc plus it will help your dog quicker. I hope this helps and have a great day!
Thank you for contacting Boop by Petco. I personally have found some resistance to Frontline, so I will give a flea treatment program that has always worked for me. First, I would give him Capstar. It's a one time pill that starts killing fleas within 30 minutes. Then follow up with a spot on treatment, such as Advantage or Revolution. This is a treatment that has to be used once a month. You will also have to disinfect the environment. Wash his bedding in hot soapy water, and vacuum the furniture and carpet surfaces. You can use a spray to kill fleas in the house, such as Indorex, or a flea bomb would work well to kill the fleas in the home. I hope this helps!
Hi and thanks for using Boop by Petco! There are many options available depending on how much you want to spend and how you want to administer it and how often. Let's start with the topical products which get applied to the skin along the back from the neck to the tail in big dogs like Duke. Frontline Plus, Effitix, Revolution, Advantix, Vectra 3D, etc are all topicals that get applied every 30 days. The oral products include Capstar (24 hour activity only), Comfortis and Nexgard (every 30 days), and Bravecto (every 90 days). There is one good collar on the market called Seresto which Bayer makes. It lasts 8 months. All of these products are good options but you need to use something specific for your geographical location since not all of these products are effective against fleas and ticks. It's best to discuss the various options listed above (and there are more options not listed) with your vet and get their opinion to what they think is effective in your area. Some produc
Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! Frontline has showed a lot of resistance with fleas. Personally I don’t recommend Adam’s. I would use Nexgard, Simparica, Bravecto, Advantix ii, or the Seresto collar. Good luck!
