Hello. Personally, I really like Fresh Pet. Many pets will eat this when they will not touch anything else, & a lot of veterinarians are recommending that cats eat a primarily wet diet vs a dry kibble. So if Lou likes the Fresh Pet, there is no need to offer any kibble. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.

Thanks for your question. FreshPet Select dog food is a fine type of food for your dogs. There is no one "best" dog food. What matters is that your dog likes eating the food, and does well; meaning they are not gassy, their stool is formed and not too hard or soft, their coat appears healthy, and they aren't having signs of allergies. If this food is accomplishing that for your dogs, then I think it is a good food for them. I hope this helps.

Hello. I do not recommend a raw diet because of the concerns about bacterial contamination. You might want to try something like Fresh Pet, or The Farmers Dog ( https://www.thefarmersdog.com ) & see how Samson does with this. Thanks for contacting Boop by Petco.

Hello. Have you tried any canned, wet or soft-moist foods? Some dogs do seem to prefer this as they age. I would especially try the FreshPet diet as many pets really seem to like it. If he continues to refuse to eat, you should have Dash evaluated by your veterinarian as there could be an underlying reason for his refusal to eat. Good luck & thanks for using Boop by Petco.

Some dogs vary the amount they eat depending on their exercise level. Also as he’s maturing he may not be needing as many calories since he’s not growing as fast. As long as he’s eating I would not switch the food. Generally they will self regulate the amount of food and maintain a normal weight. Thanks for using Boop by Petco to help you care for Jules.
