Oatmeal shampoo is a great shampoo for dogs. I would recommend using this. I don't know what type of breed she is but this shampoo is good for any breed. I would just make sure it is for dogs, since human shampoo can dry out a dogs skin. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.

Use an oatmeal type bath. This will help to moisturize the skin. You may also ask your veterinarian about using a special prescription shampoo which can help to clear out the pores and may be somewhat effective against the mites (though you need to continue your current treatment). I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Mr. Wrinkles. I would start by bathing him with a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner such as an oatmeal or fatty acid based formula. Hylyt is a good option. You can do this twice per week. However, if this does not control the itching, she will need to see her veterinarian. She may require antibiotics if the skin has become infected from the scratching and medication to co trol the itching. I hope this information helps!

I like this shampoo. It smells great! It is also high quality but inexpensive. Won't dry out her skin so you can use it as frequently as you'd like. Hope this helps! https://worldtails.securevetsource.com/itemView/view/198944_HomeDelivery.pml?productId=114283
