Health & WellbeingWhat can I do with persistent dandriff? We have medicated shampoo but anything else because he is a rescue and super scared of bathed. Currently have Douxo seborrhea mousse with phytosphingosine. Anything besides shampoo??
Yes you can use pet formulated fish oils to help with dry skin in general. Also a high quality dog food such as Royal Canin skin support, Eukanuba, or Evo can also help. I would also recommend a conditioner from your local vet that you can spray him with in between baths. The shampoo you have it the best thing to do and once you do it twice weekly for 3 consecutive weeks or so, you won’t have to do it so often. I hope this helps. Best wishes and take care.
