My dog has dry eyes. Can oral supplements improve his condition?
Thank you for submitting your question regarding Sky. Unfortunately, there are no oral supplements for dry eye. The only treatment is the topical application of eye drops to lubricate the surface of the eyes. If the eyes are not responding, then drops to decrease the body's immune response may be required. Do not allow him to paw at his eyes as he could cause damage. I hope this information helps!

My dog's cherry eye has white film and poor vision. Home remedies?
Hi there and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to address your concern. I am sorry to hear that you are unable to get the necessary treatment for Lolly. I would consider looking into CareCredit and apply for a line of credit you can use for veterinary care. You can go to their website and apply online. If that is not an option, I would consider using an eye medication called Optixcare, which you can find online quite easily. I would at least give this a try and see if it helps. My dog accidentally got ear cleaner in his eye, what should I do?
Rinse Sam's eye with cool water as well. Monitor it for redness, swelling, discharge, or pain. He would show pain by keeping his eye closed as much as possible and/or rubbing at his eye. If you see any of those signs, have him seen by a vet. Best of luck.
