Can I safely buy my dog's prescription eye medication online?
Hopefully it is the same medication, although there have been lawsuits about mislabeled and counterfeit medications with online pharmacies. Also, you do need a prescription from your veterinarian in order to purchase these products. I would recommend visiting with your veterinarian, as there is a possibility they may price match for you. How often should I give my dog dorzolamide and timolol for glaucoma?
Hi and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Dorzolamide is typically used every 8 hours and Timolol is typically used every 12 hours. However, this may change depending on the severity of the glaucoma and clinical results achieved. I would defer to your veterinarian for dosing protocols and instructions.

Can I use Ciprofloxin, Amoxicillin, or Dexamethasone for my dog's eye?
Hello and thank you for the update. Please, do not use dexamethasone as it is detrimental in case of corneal damage. You can use Ciprofloxacine instead twice a day until you can get Roshni seen by your vet. There is no need to use systemic antibiotic, like Amoxicilin.

It sounds like you may need a prescription strength medicine to help your dog become more comfortable. Your vet will need to examine your dog to ensure they are otherwise healthy (and to start a valid client/ patient/ vet relationship to legally dispense medicine) and then will decide which medicine would work best. There are newer products such as Apoquel and Cytopoint which may be appropriate. Your vet may also suggest an eye ointment to apply. Are cetirizine & cefpodoxime right for dog's runny, red, watery eyes?
So your vet gave you an allergy medication and an antibiotic. Cefpodoxime is used to treat respiratory infections in dogs. I am wondering if a prescription eye medication would be good for Coco's eyes, and I would take her back into the vet to discuss using that. I hope this helps.
