If my cat was prescribed dorzolimide three times daily and timolol twice daily for glaucoma , would I be able to use the combination timolol and dorzolimide drops as opposed to 2 seperate drops? He is also on prednisolone drops. Having so many drops
The general answer to your question is yes. The caveats are that Timolol comes in 2 different strengths, so you need to make sure that the combination product is the same strength that he is currently gettting. The other thing you need to discuss with your veterinarian is that since he is getting Dorzolamide 3 times a day and Timolol only twice daily is if you will still need to keep a separate bottle of Dorzolamide for the 3rd daily dosing. However, this may change depending on the severity of the glaucoma and clinical results achieved. I would defer to your veterinarian for dosing protocols and instructions.

Terramycin or Tobramycin probably would be the best thing to use in the eye. These are the optrex eye drops I was wondering if I could use them on the stray cat. I have been using sea salt and warm water for today but wanted to know if these eye drops would clear it up
It is never recommended to medicate a pet without the advice of your veterinarian. A physical exam is strongly recommended to confirm infection so the appropriate antibiotic can be used. Inappropriate antibiotic use can lead to resistant bacteria and may complicate any underlying conditions. If you choose to use this medication, chloramphenicol can cause serious blood abnormalities, thus should be handled with caution.

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! I only recommend erythromycin or terramycin be used in a cats eye. I recommend, if Riley is having an issue with her eyes, that you see a Veterinarian before putting anything in them. You don't want to do more harm than good.
