My cat have dry skin what do ?
Cat don't really like baths so I can suggest these things: 1. A [fish oil supplement](https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/wild-alaskan-salmon-oil-cat-food-supplement) that can be mixed into their food. 2. Use a [waterless shampoo](https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/tropiclean-waterless-cat-shampoo-deep-cleaning) product instead of traditional bathing. 3. Daily brushing. Cats do not tend to like baths however there are always a small portion that don't mind. Some grooming salons specialize in cats as well as dogs but I tend to recommend to just use a waterless bath that you can purchase from a pet store. Since the cats hair is also long it is important to brush him on a regualr basis with a brush for cats to ensure he doesn't get matted

So now i know i can shower them..but what can i use for them . not a human shampoo either a soap..and will she bite me..she often bites me..but
There are cat and dog specific shampoos available at most pet stores, or on big box websites like Chewy or Amazon. While you certainly can bathe your kitty, I typically don't recommend this as a regular activity since the majority of cats do a great job of cleaning themselves. Unless your cat is getting herself into something that is causing her to be overly filthy, I would recommend letting her do the job herself to avoid yourself getting battle wounds. Hope this makes sense.

I just rescued my 1 year old kitty. She is perfectly healthy and grooms all the time. She is an American Bobtail Tortie Shell with medium hair. How often should I take her to the groomer to get bathed, her nails clipped, and to have her hair trimmed?
Cats generally do not require bathes because they are so great about cleaning and grooming themselvs. Their nails naturally shed every 6-8 weeks and having them clipped actually leads to scratching because they want to make them sharp. As far as hair trimmed, that is personal preference for you. Try to brush her daily to get her used to it so there will be no tangles or mats. IF a mat does develop, then she will it cut out by the groomer. Her teeth should be brushed at least 3 times a week if able and you can do this at home with finger tooth brush and feline approved tooth past to help.

Nikki is adorable! Thanks for including pictures! Yes, PetSmile is expensive, but it is one of the only toothpastes to actually be approved by the Veterinary Oral Health Council. (Last year they ran a 25% off sale before Christmas, so I stocked up!) Yes, it is fine to use Dawn on Nikki's feet daily, but I suspect any gentle cleaner would be fine as well. You may have to experiment to find the best shampoo for her. I have been very pleased with EarthBath products, so you might want to try their Oatmeal and Aloe shampoo for itch relief. https://earthbath.com/product/oatmeal-aloe-shampoo/ There are also prescription itch relief shampoo and conditioner products if needed that you can talk to your vet about.
