You would need a current prescription from a veterinarian who has physically examined Duke. You can then place your order and submit the prescription. The pharmacy will then contact the veterinarian or clinic to confirm the prescription then fill the order.

Hi there and thank you for using Boop by Petco to address your concern. For the puppy biting, this is a normal behavior and many times will lessen as a puppy ages. I find that when a puppy bites, if you insert your thumb under the tongue and hold it there until the puppy is annoyed, they eventually start licking instead of biting. This can take multiple times for the puppy to get it but I find this works quite well. A spray bottle filled with water used to lightly spritz Trixie in the face will help as well while saying "off!". You can use the spray bottle technique as well to stop her from digging holes in the backyard. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.

If you have proof that the dogs have a current negative heartworm test (current means a test within the last year) then you can get the product at any one of our VETCO vaccination clinics. If you do not have proof of a negative heartworm test, you can get the test done at the clinic and then you can buy the Interceptor (or any type of heartworm prevention). I would recommend trying to order a food off online. There are a lot of companies that will ship you dog food. Even if you cannot find his original brand you can another dry food he might like better than the store brand from the store near by. You can try to buy some canned food too. This might encourage him to eat his new food better. If you absolutely have to you can add a little boiled chicken to motivate him to eat his new food

It looks like it is still available through Petsmart and Petco website for an online order, or you can wait until your vet opens on tomorrow to get it there if they keep it in stock. Typically your vet can get it ordered pretty quickly for their patients. Jaydee should be fine if it takes a week or two to get his Rx food. Visit your local pet store and get Hill's Science diet senior food (small bag) for now to hold him over.
