Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! The Science diet sensitive skin and stomach is quite good. I really like all the Nylabone products. I find that dogs really like them and they are fairly inexpensive. They also seem to help with cleaning the teeth a bit. Have a good day!

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center! I personally like the Purina Pro Plan diets as well as the Hill's Science Diet foods as I think they are both palatable and highly nutritious. In terms of treats, I think the milk bones products are both nutritious, palatable and reasonably priced. Good luck and best wishes!

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This may be due to parasites. Keep in mind that not improving with a dewormer does not mean is not parasites. It may mean you are using the wrong dewormer or the wrong amount or longevity. This can also be a number of other things like a foreign body obstruction, parvovirus, among other causes. I would recommend you consider having her evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They would be able to check for these possibilities and start therapy accordingly. I am hoping for a speedy recovery!

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This is possibly due to allergies. It really comes down to figuring out what is causing his allergies so that they can be treated or the specific allergen avoided. There are many things that can cause allergies though in most cases they can be broken down into 3 big categories: flea, food and environmental allergies. Allergies are usually worked up in a stepwise fashion starting with flea allergies as this is the easiest and cheapest to take care of. If not on a flea preventative, then it would be a good idea to get started on one. If already on one then it would be a good idea to change to something else (there are many new products out in the market). If not improved in 1-3 months then it is time to move on and check for food allergies by switching to a novel diet (new protein and new carbohydrate). If that does not seem to be the issue then you are left out having to check for environmental allergies which require blood and/or skin tests. Allergies can be very frustrating to deal with at first but so rewarding at the end when we are able to treat them effectively!

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I would recommend another of the Purina pro Plan diets which is the Purina Pro Plan shredded blends. This is easily found at a pet store for an affordable price and it is of very good quality. Good luck and have a good night!
