This use to be the best cat litter I’d ever bought, but now it's the worst. It now has zero clumping ability. The clumps instantly fall apart when you try to scoop, leaving pieces of dirty litter all over that are impossible to scoop. This forces you to clean the whole box out much sooner, costing a lot more money, which is probably why it's made this way now. I have an enclosed litter box, inside an enclosed closet that only has access through a pet door, with 2 very large litter trapping mats. This litter still manages to get tracked EVERYWHERE. I sweep and vacuum every single day, and when I wake up, it looks like the cat was having a cat litter fight in that room overnight. It's disgusting, and I'm done with this litter and can't wait to switch to a different brand.

I tried this litter because my cat was allergic to every other type I had tried. I read one review where the customer said it worked when nothing else helped. Works for me. My cat’s skin irritation that fluctuated from mild to severe at times for four years is now finally gone for good. Been using this successfully for over two months now. Worth taking a chance if your cat seems to be allergic to his litter.

This litter, while unscented, does not clump tightly or well. The clumps fall apart upon scooping into bits that arent scoopable.

No, I do not recommend this product.

This was the best clumping litter I’ve used-until it was recently “improved.” Now the clumps break apart when you scoop and little pieces go through the scoop and back in the box. It’s a very time consuming & annoying chore now. How about going back to the previous formula?

Formula change = AWFUL! New formula does not clump nearly as well as the previous light grey formula. Despite a large mat outside of the litter box to get extra litter off the paws, this new formula is being tracked all over the house. SO DISAPPOINTING! If it's not broke, don't fix it!

Sticker on outside of jug says improved clumping; “liar, liar, pants on fire!” What employee fudged the numbers to say it was better to justify their employment? It works about a tenth as well as it used to. When it does clump the clumps often disintegrate when you attempt to scoop them! I thought at first I might have got a bad batch but several jugs later, same result. Shame on Purina for obviously putting less of the ingredients in that make it clump while trying to convince us they didn’t do that by advertising that the product is improved.

No longer clumps and urine soaks through to bottom of the box. Tracks everywhere and is an all around nightmare.

I tried the lightweight but it was too light and was kicked out of the box and tracked on the floor. However, this type is the perfect fit, as it's the perfect weight to stay in the litter box and off the floor. I'm very happy with this product!
