I care for my grandmother that has dementia and she dropped the cordless phone. We didn’t know a battery fell out until the dog came running with it. I grabbed it from her mouth and examined it—no leaking, punctures, or even teeth marks. Called the er vet but the receptionist said vet was in surgery but she didn’t think there was any danger. Do you agree? If she woukd have swallows one I woukd already have her there but is a trip warranted since battery is accounted for and intact?
