You may think there’s nothing glamorous about poop bags, but cleaning up after our dogs actually can create a safer environment for ourselves, our neighbors and other dogs. Choose an eye-catching poop bag holder in your favorite color so you never forget to grab it before heading out on your walks, or better yet, attach a dispenser to your pup’s leash so it’s with you wherever you go.
The best dog poop bag depends on your pup, and your preferences. We have scented, colorful, ultra tough, and more bags to choose from.
Some of the brands we sell at Petco include eco-friendly dog poop bags, and some of the packaging comes from recycled materials.
That depends on the brand and type of dog poop bag you’re buying. You can easily check the description and attributes of each product we sell.
The best way to pick up dog poop is to use the bag as a glove when picking up the poop, flip the bag around with your other hand so that the poop is secured inside, and tie it tight.
If there are no public trash cans around, you’ll need to carry the bag with you until you can throw it away at home. Or if you’re in a dog-friendly park, there are usually a number of waste receptacles available.

My dog ate a tiny biodegradable poo bag will he be ok
My dog just pooped this out. Please help
My puppy's poop never firms up it's always soft and mushy when I pick it up. I have to run a water hose over it
What you give to a canine if he has the poops or the runs
My dog has a brown discharge from tail pocket
my 17 yr. old 5 # Pomeranian (neutered male) has to wear a male wrap, due to frequent wetting in the house... but can wriggle out of it...I found the Vet's Best Perfect Fit ...which sounds like it would work well, but I need a liner that is really absorbent to put in it... What would you suggest? (that's affordable)?
I just got Litter Robot automatic box. Uses regular kitchen trash bags in disposal drawer. Is it safe to use scented bags? I've heard diffuser scents are dangerous to cats, but the cats have no contact with bag (litter & unit touched by cat separate from disposal drawer)
i was cleaning my dog poop today and i had a old poop bag in the backyard because i forgot to bring it to the trash i decided to add the fresh poop to the old. When i opened the bag there was little white worms crawling all over the old poop. i didn't see any on the poop i picked up today or last week. it looks like tape worm segments I've done looks of research.. what is the best deworming product over the counter. i took a sample of her poop and will see if any worm show up.
My dog won't stop pooping large amounts
I caught my dog chewing on the black plastic tube from his poop bags. He definitely swallowed some little pieces. He’s acting normal but I’m worried he’ll have trouble digesting. Should I go to animal ER?
Does Petco conduct stool tests for Dogs?
My 5 month Boxer has always had soft stools (never forceful or bloody diarrhea) but as I take her on more walks, I’m noticing that her mess is impossible to pick up in a baggie since it’s so runny. She doesn’t seem sick at all. She has a good appetite and plays well with our other dog. All of her shots and deworm are up to date. I’ve heard boxers are prone to allergies, but I’m not sure which ones. We feed her Old Roy dog food and she seems to have no other symptoms.
