I never leave reviews but I think everyone should be notified of this. I bought a 4 lb bag yesterday in an attempt to find food that my dog would eat, but I cut open the bag and dumped it into my canister for storage and found bugs and cocoons. I will be contacting the company.

I got this to use as a supplement to my dogs primary food in enrichment activities (e.g. rolled up in a towel or as training bits). I was attracted to the limited ingredient claim, however, when you read the ingredient list, it’s still quite long. Based on the bag size and design (4 lb bag for reference) I was hoping for a ziplock top to help keep freshness, but it doesn’t have that, just the pre cut tear lines. Overall I think this is an okay average kibble, and my dogs enjoy it when they get it, but I think the claims are maybe more marketing than reality.

This food was a win with both of my dogs. My older dog Franny is not very fussy when it comes to food, but with age, she doesn’t always want to eat and she needs small kibble. My younger dog Finn tends to be a little tentative and new foods usually make his gassy (and in occasion, it chases you out of the room). But, both dogs did really well with this food. The kibble was easy for Franny to chew and she ate at every meal that it was offered. Even more impressive to us is that Finn did not have any noticeable gas. It took several offerings before he dug in, bit each time it was offered ate. This food was a win with our dogs.

My dogs are super allergic to chicken which includes chicken fat. Nowadays it’s very hard to find food that does not contain chicken and I’m very happy this is one of them. My dogs enjoyed the food and will eat the kibble with no issue.

Listen, my dogs aren’t picky, so it’s tough to tell if they ate something because it is good or if it’s just because I offered it to them. That being said, this kibble smells good and isn’t greasy. Both dogs found it agreeable in their food bowl and as a treat.

This is a good grain free dog food with limited ingredients. First ingredient listed is literally duck. I got the duck and sweet potato for my food sensitive boy and he scarfed it all up. Well, he tried to.

I have 3 dogs that all have some sort of allergy whether is skin or ears. So they are always on a mostly natural limited ingredient hard dog food. Since the bag was a bit small, and not wanting to make them sick with changing their food 100%, i added this on top of their wet food they get at night and then a topper on their normal care food. All three of them loved it! Even the cats were trying to get some bc they were smaller kibble bites.I am actually contemplating switching to this food over the spring and phasing out my existing brand bc the dogs seemed to really enjoy this one.
