Description

Vetericyn Plus Hot Spot Antimicrobial Hydrogel is designed to adhere to the animal's hot spot or sore to provide soothing relief and protection during healing. All Vetericyn Plus products are made with hypochlorous technology, a non-toxic alternative to antibiotics and steroids for a safer way to relieve skin ailments and jumpstart the healing process. The unique hydrogel does not cause irritation to the skin and is safe for use in sensitive areas or with a dressing, like gauze, to keep the wound moist.

INGREDIENTS

Hypochlorous Acid (0.010%) Inactive: Electrolyzed Water, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Hypochlorite, Lithium Magnesium Sodium Silicate, Sodium Bicarbonate, Phosphates, Sodium Sulfate.

DIRECTIONS

For animal use only. Shake well before use. Move excess hair from wound area. Clip if necessary. Saturate the affected area with hydrogel. If dressing is required, saturate dressing with Vetericyn Plus at each dressing change. Repeat 3-4 times per day or as necessary. Faster healing is achieved when wounds are clean and maintained moist. No rinsing necessary. Safe for use around mouth, nose, ears, and eyes. For best results, first clean affected area with Vetericyn Plus Wound and Skin Care Liquid to ensure deep dermal cleansing and proper wound bed preparation.

I’m not one to normally go out of my way to leave reviews but this one deserves it. My dog’s pads get irritated when I shave between them (poodle hair) and occasionally when we go on long runs. Without this product they take days to heal and she licks them constantly. With the spray they healed overnight and licking is much less. I’ve also tried Musher’s and a similar salve from a small business and they don’t heal the hot spots as quickly as this product does. Definitely buying the big bottle of this when my small one runs out. A little pricey but worth it.

Hot Spot Gel has provided relief for my dog that had previously been unattainable with other supposed solutions I’ve tried. I am very grateful. I apply it whenever he begins to itch or lick his abdomen and the relief it provides is evident.

I bought this a week ago due to my dog having a hot spot under his leg and this stuff works! It was super red and with the spray, next day not so red. And in 3 days it was beyond better. I would recommend this!

So my cat got hot spots and I was really worried. I used this spray for about a week and the hot spots have greatly reduced in size and color. Some of the reviews state there's a clogging problem with the nozzle, I think the manufacturers know this because the directions also say to rinse with hot water after use. I have done this religiously and the nozzle is still working.

Extremely happy with the product. I was pet sitting a fur baby with severe atopic dermatitis and hot spots. He is currently on antibiotics but in addition to that I have given him an oatmeal & green tea bath along with using the hot spot gel spray and it has alleviated the biting, itching, and flare up. I believe a multivitamin (dog is human) and a skin and coat vitamin would be useful as well when dealing with skin issues

Bella's itching in her front leg joints will stop if I use it as often as she needs it. She is very allergic to just about everything and gets Cytopoint shots to help but so does this gel.

What is the difference between this and the regular "Antimicrobial Pet Wound & Skin Hydrogel"? They have the same exact active and inactive ingredients this one is just more expensive.

Our Antimicrobial Wound and Skin Hydrogel is the same formula as the Hot Spot Antimicrobial Hydrogel. The suggested retail price on these two products are the same (assuming same size), however a retailer may choose to list them with different prices. If the Antimicrobial Wound & Skin Hydrogel is less expensive, we suggest choosing that one for your animal's hotspots!
