Customers say

Customers overwhelmingly praise this spray for rapid, effective relief of itchy skin and hot spots in dogs, with most reporting noticeable improvement within days. The gentle formula works well on sensitive skin, reduces scratching and redness, and includes soothing aloe vera. Many appreciate the easy spray nozzle and quick absorption without greasy residue. Reviewers particularly value it for managing chronic allergies and seasonal flare-ups, calling it a trusted staple. A few note occasional spray bottle issues, but these concerns are rare compared to widespread positive feedback.

Helps itching

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Yorkie has been experiencing a lot of itching so I tried the Hot Spot & Itch Relief Medicated Spray with him. This spray has helped to reduce the amount of itchiness that he is experiencing. The spray is a light mist, so it did not bother him when I was applying it. I have been using this regularly since he has year round allergies. I am very happy with how it has helped us.

Helped keep my older dogs more comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two senior dogs, a 13 year old beagle and a 10 year old Chihuahua/pug mix and as they’ve gotten older, itchy skin has become a pretty common issue for both of them. I used the Sulfodene Hot Spot & Itch Relief Spray for a few days, mainly on the spots where they tend to scratch or lick the most. Both of my dogs handled it really well. The spray was easy to use, didn’t seem to irritate their skin, and they didn’t mind it being applied. After a few days, I noticed less scratching and they just seemed more comfortable overall. Their coats also looked a bit smoother, which is always a win with older dogs. If you have pets that deal with occasional itching or sensitive skin especially senior dogs this is a simple product that’s easy to add into your routine without stressing them out. This product was provided to me so I could try it out and share my honest experience.

My best ally!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having a German Shepherd in Florida can be really challenging - the heat, humidity, and year-round allergens can be tough on his skin, especially since he’s very active, prone to hot spots, and visits the beach constantly. I love how easy the spray application is. It makes it simple to spot treat exactly where he needs it, without any mess or stress. After using it consistently for a few days, I noticed his coat looked healthier and more comfortable, and his skin seemed better conditioned thanks to the moisturizing formula with aloe. As a dog mom, one of the hardest things is seeing your dog uncomfortable and not being able to explain what’s wrong. Sulfodene has been my ally in those moments, giving me confidence to care for his skin at home and support him through flare-ups, which happen very often... It’s definitely something I like to keep on hand, especially for dogs dealing with heat, allergies, and an active lifestyle. I received this product in exchange of an honest review

Hot Spot Fixer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My senior dog Rebel has extremely sensitive skin and an allergy to grain. Although, we do feed him grain free dog food he has a tendency to get into things that contain grain--Due to his sensitive skin he gets hot spots that really itch and bother him, rubbing his back side raw. This Sulfodene Hot Spot & Itch Relief spray has healed his hot spots on multiple occasions. It contains safe ingredients that get the job done quickly! This is my #1 pick for hot spot treatment that will keep you out of the vet's office requesting a cone, .
