I'm no less nger going to purchase this litter and we buy like 6-8 pails at a time for Years . My cats are 12, 14, and 18 yrs old.This is nothing like it was, it is so dusty, it doesn't hold the oder and most of all it DOESN'T clump as it used to. I thought maybe it was my imagination, because the urine is just a pile of mush, on the sides or sinks to the bottom of the litter box and is so hard to remove. I now have to mix this litter with my backup that I use in my 3rd extra box. Companies that change a great product just lose customers, and reading some of these comments you should know why.

I used to use this all the time. Now everything in my house is covered with white dust, even my hands when I clean the litter boxes because of the cloud of white dust. My floors are covered with the tiny white balls that scatter everywhere and can only be cleaned up with a vacuum. My cat has allergies, so I am currently reading ingredients on other litters and when I find one I won't be buying this again.

The new formula STINKS

This litter WAS a rock star product. I’ve used it since 2018. I have multiple cats (one with allergies), and I’m scent sensitive. My cats and I used to love this litter: it clumped hard, had virtually zero crumbles/breakage and was fantastic at odor control for the entire month until it was time to change out the litter. The new formula is AWFUL!!!! It does not clump well at all, and I had small pieces breaking up in the litter on only day 2 of all new litter in the box. This is unacceptable and makes your product a complete waste of money. It also congeals into wet, sticky lumps on the sides of the box (never did this before), and has much more dust. Many of us here have complained, yet all you do is say is “I’m sorry” with your AI-generated replies rather than fixing the issues. Instead, you want us to buy your new unscented “performance power clump” litter that is much more expensive. Except I tried that new litter, and I had little pieces breaking off the clump on DAY ONE of all new litter in the box. I’m SO angry at this false advertising. WHY did you ruin what was a GREAT litter and replace it with a more expensive version that is also awful?! Whoever came up with that brilliant idea needs to be fired. Tidy Cat will no longer be getting any of my money. You are losing many customers!

Changes in formula result in useless litter

Echoing a lot of other folks here, something changed recently and now this litter is no longer blocking scents or clumping as well. I thought perhaps I just needed to change the whole box, so I did. Using a freshly cleaned box and untouched litter I noticed immediately a larger cloud while pouring and every time I clean the box I feel as if I've been in a mine and am covered in dust. My cat constantly smells like litter dust and every time I scoop I notice fewer clumps staying together.

Stop cutting corners!

Enough with the we're sorry crap. Change it back. This crap is not working and it's smelling up my whole house. We have a fairly new AC system that keeps the humidity down and have just added a dehumidifier to the room with the boxes. The only thing that has done is to spread the smell around the house more. FIX IT!!!!!

Formula changed RUINED this product

I have used this product for 8 years with my two cats and it has worked amazingly. However, something changed a few months ago. The color of the litter was noticeably different and it is SO SO DUSTY. A cloud forms over the litter box when I scoop now. It used to be so low dust and now it’s unbearable. It is also not nearly as good at controlling the smell and clumping. So disappointing to lose such an amazing product to lack of quality. I will be switching brands which is never ideal with cats but we can’t keep using this litter!

Did you guys think we wouldn’t notice the formula change?? I was so alarmed when I poured the litter and it was SO DARK. I thought something was wrong with my jug. Why do companies always try to fix something that isn’t broken. I’ve used this litter for YEARS. It used to be the best and healthiest one out there for my picky cats but now idk what this garbage is. Listen to your customers and change it back!!! Or else I will not be buying this again.

Went from being perfect and amazing, to subpar.

For years, this was my favorite go to litter. People would come to my house and ask me what I used because they couldn’t smell it at all. Then several years back, I noticed it stopped masking the smell quite as well and it seemed to be clumping differently. Afraid to branch out and try something else, I stuck with it. In the last year or two, I’ve noticed the quality has just gone down on it so much. It no longer masks the smell, it clumps onto the sides so bad but leaves the clumps wet in the middle, so when you go to scoop, the whole thing just crumbles and falls apart. It’s also EXTREMELY dusty. When it used to be hardly dusty at all. Please Purina, look over the formulas from years back and compare it to now. Look at the overwhelming number of reviews you have stating how loyal customers are very aware of a terrible change. Maybe it’s the source of a specific ingredient, but something needs to change. You guys had such a great product that really stuck out on the market at one point.
