DIRECTIONS

FEEDING FOR ADULT MAINTENANCE It is important that you feed Pro Plan to your adult cat "free choice" throughout the day, rather than as just a single feeding only at mealtime. Food intake required to maintain ideal body condition will vary, depending on age, activity and environment. Watch your cat's weight and adjust food amounts accordingly. MAKING THE SWITCH TO PRO PLAN Although you'll be anxious to see the difference Pro Plan can make in your cat, please allow 7 - 10 days to ease the transition from your cat's current food. Each day, simply feed a little less of the previous food and a little more Pro Plan until you're feeding Pro Plan exclusively. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets. Contains a source of live (viable) naturally occurring microorganisms. Provide adequate fresh water in a clean container daily. For your pet's health, see your veterinarian regularly.

Customers say

Customers overwhelmingly praise this cat food for exceptional palatability and digestive benefits. Nearly all reviewers report that even pickiest eaters eagerly consume it, with many noting improved digestion, energy levels, and coat health. The salmon and rice flavor and kibble size are specifically praised. Customers with sensitive-stomach cats report significant improvements, crediting the probiotics and prebiotics. Reduced litter box issues and visible wellness improvements are commonly mentioned. A few note the higher price point, and one isolated case reported refusal, but these concerns are rare compared to the dominant positive experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cats like it pretty well. Seems softer than usual kibble. Very safe on cats who need softer food.

2 of my 3 cats that I switched to this food didn't love it. One was slow to eat his food, the other wouldn't eat it unless it had a topper on it. We discovered a couple weeks ago that the male developed crystals on this food. We started the swap to prescription food but it was too late. The crystals caused a blockage and he died during the unblocking procedure.
