The recommendation of another dog owner, Purchased two sizes “medium” and “large” from PetSmart. Neither fit my dog. I checked the manufacturer website to find there is a “medium/large” size which is not offered at PetSmart. Petsafe customer service chat window was a little challenging, but ultimately Petsafe (Morgan) offered and shipped the appropriate size. Expected to receive it in 3-5 days. The sizing and fitting seems to be the most challenging, despite the tutorials/videos as I do not want it to restrict my dog’s gait or harm joints/mobility. Also, there are videos, not endorsed by Petsafe, that incorrectly demonstrate the use of the harness.

This harness instantly helped our rescue dog pull less when walking! Getting the right fit is important in making sure it doesn’t rub or leave blisters. Definitely measure! Our dog has a small body and big chest so we ended up buying the small/medium on the website because the in-between size wasn’t available at the pet store. Highly recommend!!!

(Ordered via chewy but putting it on here too) Definitely not chewys fault, in fact I appreciate their help with a quick and easy refund. My dog is only 14 pounds and is not too much of a puller, I thought I’d just try this harness out because I heard good things and am trying to train her better. She also is very prone to mats so I thought this style would be better than some of the other fabric ones. However, after 4 days of using she wasn’t pulling it and the metal loop completely snapped off of the fabric. She didn’t chew it as there was no fraying, the stitches or glue literally just snapped. Thank god I was on the beach and not a busy road and she came back to me after a few moments but it was very scary and definitely not a good look on the product. Even if I somehow just got a defect I won’t feel comfortable trusting another one of their products.

I like the clear instructions however the snap on belly strap doesn’t click shut well and takes multiple attempts. Also, once the chest strap is adjusted, it doesn’t stay in the adjusted place

My dog and I had been training to reduce leash pulling and had made some progress. When we started using the no-pull harness, it was problem solved! Walking together is now a joy. The harness is easy to put on and fits him perfectly. Best of all, we are both happy and my arm doesn’t hurt after walking him.

Would this harness fit a 100lb golden retriever?
