Customers say

Customers are divided on live catnip plants. Most praise their cats' enthusiastic reactions—cats "go crazy," roll, run, and fight over the pot, with even older or hard-to-please cats showing immediate excitement. However, many reviewers report receiving dead, wilted, or pest-infested plants that deteriorated within days despite proper care. Customers describe loose soil, no scent, and rapid decline in potency. Some cats showed no interest, and a few raised concerns about plant quality and potential pesticide exposure. Overall, while cats' delight drives positive feedback, unreliable plant condition creates significant disappointment.

I have an Maincoon that hates dried cat nip. So i mainly bought this for my Rescue kitten who loves it. But this time the MC got hold of it and went crazy. Dragging himself around the floor running jumping acting liken a goof ball. 20 min later they were both zonked

Arrived mostly dead and then was completely dead by the next day. If you are interested in this item, I would suggest going into the store and picking a healthy one out yourself

Questions

1 - 3 of 3 Questions

What size is the pot? What are the dimensions

  1. 3" x 3" and maybe 4" deep. Too small for the plants in it, and they are not well kept in the pet store. My cat ignored the catnip I grow outdoors until he saw feral cats eating it. Then, out of jealousy, he began eating it. Now he loves it. Catnip grows best outdoors in the earth not in a pot. Mine in a pot indoors often gets mouldy. It likes bright light, maybe south facing windows.

Why is my cat nip dying?

  1. Try putting it in a big container. Make sure to water it if it is to dry. Don't water it to much because that can kill it too.

Is it safe for 4 mo old kittens I also have older cat

  1. Cats under 6 months old normally don't react to it, its only once they're older that they're interested. So while it is safe your kitten may just not care :) also keep in kind 25% of cats are unnaffected by catnip, so I'd try some cheaper dry stuff first! Hope this helps <3
