Leopard gecko

I bought this for my kids leopard geckos a couple weeks ago and the geckos and my kids both enjoy it! They can see they’re geckos without disturbing them and the geckos have they’re hide lay in peace! Win win for all!!!

Because of its open, conductive resin design, it may feel cool inside when using overhead heat compared to a heat mat, making it necessary to place the hide directly under a focused heat source, such as a basking bulb, to warm the material itself Thanks.

Is this product aquarium safe? I think it would be a great home fot a fresh water eel, but im worried that adding this to the tank might kill the fish. When I asked an employee they suggested I leave it in water to see if it gave off color.
