I just ordered this to keep an eye on my nano tank during start-up. I had this kit many years ago with the glass test tubes and loved it, it's why I aimed for this one on the second go around for its quality and assurance to know what goes on in the tank that you can't always see. However it seems in recent years the company has shifted more towards cost saving, as they moved to plastic test tubes with easily breakable hinge lids. Very different from the glass ones that felt hefty and less stain resistent and stood on their own without the kit holder. The lids for the dropper bottles also seem to be different as I have one that leaks around the rim despite just opening from the packaging. Overall it can still get the job done, just not as quality as I remember.

Yes, I recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The API Freshwater Master Test Kit has been super helpful for checking on the ph-water level plus other levels in the various aquariums that our turtle & fish are currently occupying. The instructions are easy to read plus the test tubes & container are made of very durable material. I check on my pets throughout the week to ensure that they are in the healthiest environment where they can to continue to grow & thrive. Also, after I've finished testing their water, disposing of the mixtures is easy. I was able to clean up in minutes.
