- Hi Lindy67, In general it would be recommended that animals be removed from the area being sprayed until the product has properly dried. Beyond that, there is nothing known about how much treated grass a dog might have to eat for toxicity to develop. Because little is known about the effects, we would recommend not using around a dog who regularly eats grass. Thanks

I have a very large yard. It is close to an acre. How many jugs of your product would I need and how often do I treat ? How long do I keep my dogs and cat off the yard after treatment ?
- Hi Emtducky, There are 43,560 square feet in an acre. One bottle covers 16,000 square feet. So you would need 3 bottles. You may repeat your outdoor flea treatment every 2-3 weeks. Once the fleas are under control, maintenance treatments should be performed every 4-6 weeks. Keep animals indoors for a few hours or until the application is dry. Thanks,
