Updated on September 23rd, 2025

I have a 1-3 month old wild rabbit I have had it from 1 and a half month and is having a bit of a problem . He was having a sister and she died 10 -20 days ago. Infact they both were in very bad condition the girl died but cuto somehow survived now . Cuto was having a bit of cold so I kept him on a heating pad . Now he is better but the hair in front of his nose was coming off now the nose is better but now the same is happening with his front leg . The leg has become red . Plz help me !

If he was having a lot of nasal discharge that drained around his nose this can explain the hair loss there. Typically the discharge can also land on the front legs and irritate the skin there too. Of course other possibilities such as mites and skin infections are also possible. I would encourage you to have him evaluated by a veterinarian soon. Best of luck and thank you for caring for this bunny and for using Pet Coach.
