Yes this could be causing gastrointestinal obstruction and/or possibly gastrointestinal inflammation. I would suggest to closely monitor defecation and appetite in the next 3-4 days and if you notice any variation (inappetence, diarrhoea or no defecation at all), to have LILO checked as soon as possible by your local veterinarian.
