My rabbit was attacked and is skinny with sores. What can I do?

You are doing all the right thing it seems, this means he must be suffering from a medical condition. i would recommend to take him to the vet in order to get him dewormed. he might also be suffering from a gastrointestinal infection that is causing this. upper respiratory infections are also know n=to cause weight loss. the vet will check him and treat him accordingly.

You need to take Nibbles into a vet immediately. He could have suffering internal injuries from this attack, and cat bites frequently become infected. Bunnies are very stoic and will hide their pain very well because they are prey animals. Even though he's acting normally, he likely will be hurting from this attack and he needs veterinary attention now. Do not put any more hydrogen peroxide on his wounds as it actually damages the tissues and interferes with wound healing. Please take him into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. You could try syringing some water and mashed pellets into her mouth but be cautious as her ability to swallow may be affected also. Telephone your vets office immediately and there should be instructions as to how to access emergency veterinary care; intravenous fluids may be helpful if the injury is reversible.
