Why is my nursing rabbit's breast swollen with a black wound?

Pet's info: Small Animal | Rabbit | Female | unspayed | 7 months and 15 days old | 4.5 lbs

My pet rabbit gave birth to 6 baby rabbits and few days after reproducing babies , at her upper breast got swellen and near the nipple a kind of black wound appeared. Please suggest me what i have to do now and tell me that it is serious or not ?

This is a very severe infection and she should see a vet because many antibiotics are not safe for rabbits and they can cause the intestinal tract to stop moving all together. Also, if she is still nursing the kits, the antibiotic must be safe for them. So please consult with a local vet to get some antibiotics for her - enrofloxacin or trimethoprim sulfa would be a good choice.
