Hi my hamster sneezes occasionally for a few seconds at a time, especially after burrowing. She does not have discharge of her eyes and nose and she does not have laboured breathing either. So I am not sure if a trip to the vet is necessary as it does not seem like she has respiratory infection.

He could have an allergy to the bedding you are using if it is cedar chips or something similar. You may want to try to change to care fresh which is like cotton or paper substrate. This could also be indicative of an upper respiratory infection. If it isn't improving I would have your vet look at him to see if he needs any antibiotics or allergy meds. I hope this helps!
